What will you be doing?
As a Risk Consultant you work for prominent (international) organizations in the commercial sector. You help our clients to realize their strategy in a controlled manner by effectively setting up the risk management system. For example, by integrating risk management with ESG reporting and target-setting, performance management, embedding risk management in the planning and control cycle, or stimulating a culture of ethical and risk awareness. Logically, technology, innovation and change management play an important role in your work. You also find it fun and challenging to work on innovative ideas, concepts and solutions for risk management and convert this into results.
A selection of our projects:
- Helping the client in the field of risk transformation, to enable the organization to respond in an adequate and sustainable way to the most important risks of today and tomorrow;
- Together with a client, improve their risk management at project level in order to better manage the preparation and execution of (construction) projects;
- Providing advice to international organizations on the intersection of Risk and ESG enabling ESG Risk management and in-control ESG reporting in line with European ESG legislation.
In addition to direct work for our customers, you are also actively involved in developing propositions, brainstorming about go-to-market themes, writing (technical) articles and organizing customer meetings about our field and its future. You will also build a network within PwC, gain experience in several disciplines of our services and you will continuously develop your professional knowledge and advisory skills.
We are the Risk Consulting team with a strong focus on the Consumer Industrial Products & Services (CIPS) market. As a team, we help our clients achieve their objectives by preparing the client for unforeseen events. Customers have ambitions and their strategy is aimed at achieving them. To get from A to B, they have to ask themselves what risks they will encounter along the way, and then anticipate them with the right people, resources, systems and procedures. We help our clients on this journey from A to B. We identify the risks and ensure that they have the right resources to achieve their objectives.

Does this describe you?
- You have completed a master's degree, preferably in the field of Business Economics, Business Administration, (Financial) Economics, Law or (Business) Information Technology. A combination with Accounting is an advantage;
- You have affinity with enterprise risk management, operational risk management, sustainability, internal control and/or compliance;
- You have the ambition to continue learning (eg by following a postgraduate study);
- You are broadly oriented and are able to place yourself in strategic issues as well as tactical and operational issues;
- You are innovative and enterprising and you want to actively build on further digitization and the application of emerging technologies;
- You are a team player, social, ambitious and have excellent written and oral communication skills;
- You have an excellent command of both the Dutch and English language;
- You come into your own in an international working environment;
- You are able to work independently and to adapt to rapidly changing circumstances.
