International Card Services (ICS) is a 100% subsidiary of ABN AMRO Bank N.V. with its own bank license with DNB and AFM. ICS is a payment service provider and market leader in issuing credit cards in the Netherlands. We have been issuing, promoting, administrating and processing payments of Visa and Mastercard credit cards for over 30 years. ICS issues credit cards both under its own brand and in conjunction with co-branding partners, for both consumer and commercial clients. In addition, we offer various other financial services and products.

Your job
You will be a part of the management team of ICS Finance. The Head of VPT F&R manager will functionally steer the data engineers of the Finance Risk Data Team (FRDT), who are part of the IT department. The Head of VPT F&R has a functional reporting line to the CRO of ICS.
You are responsible for:
- People management for a team of 5 professionals, leading by example, mentoring team members for skill enhancement and career growth and ensuring the team's capabilities meet the dynamic needs of the organization.
- Initiating, implementing, and prioritizing necessary (regulatory) solutions for Finance and Risk.
- Timely implementation of new laws and regulations
- Addressing new requirements from AAB regarding data submissions
- Building (PowerBi) dashboards/reports, data solutions, and automation for (regulatory) reporting for Finance and Risk.
- Analyzing requirements, preparing Data Requirements Packages (DRP) for sourcing instructions to IT, and implementing them together with the IT team
- Setting up an environment of risk awareness, in-control mindset, and continuous improvement
Working environment
You work in the ICS Finance team which consists of around 35 Finance professionals. As the Head of Value Proposition Team Finance & Risk, you are part of the MT Finance of ICS and you are reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, next to having a functional line to the CRO. You are also included in the wider Leadership Team of ICS.

Your profile
- Economics and/or Business administration at Master level or a similar post-graduate education, combined with an IT background
- 7-10 years of leadership experience (functional or hierarchical) in an IT change environment in the financial services industry
- Expertise and relevant working experience in IT and Agile change
- Around 5 years of experience in project management
- Affinity with Finance and Risk reporting
- Relevant insight into the latest developments in laws and regulations related to Finance and Risk (e.g. Basel IV, DGS, Definition of Default, SFR)
- Data management background
- You have an independent view and can translate your insights into clear advice
- You have strong communication skills and are able to build trust in a senior environment. Good stakeholder management
- Demonstrable ability to think critically, implementing efficient & robust processes and show advanced analytical skills
- Presents in the workplace, has good social skills and knows how to work together with and within a team
- Well-developed organizational sensitivity and knows how to move between the different layers in the organization
- Strong focus on risk awareness & reduction, cost control and effective control frameworks
- Understands the importance of being compliant with law and regulations
- Preference for bilingual candidates (both English & Dutch)
We are offering
- The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget
- The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month
- Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year
- Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000
