As an IT-Architect you work for the value cluster Transaction Banking & Mortgages. The grids that are within this value cluster are Core Transactions, Daily Banking, Transaction Services and Mortgages. You are responsible on a daily basis for optimal use of and adjustments to the IT landscape, so that the business can serve our customers perfectly. Today, but also in the future, where ABN AMRO wants to continue to use the latest technologies.

Your job

As a IT-Architect you are responsible for the architecture support of all IT changes that are carried out within the Transaction Banking & Mortgages domain. Your job is to provide solutions that are supported by both the customer and IT. You play an important role in the implementation of the IT strategy of the bank.

As the point of contact for architecture at ABN AMRO, you will play a pivotal role in aligning our architectural vision with practical solutions for our teams. With a deep understanding of ABN AMRO's vision regarding architecture and FSA, you will translate these strategic concepts into actionable outcomes, ensuring that our objectives are met with precision and foresight. You will act as a trusted sparring partner for Engineering Leads and Product Owners, offering your expertise and insights to drive our projects forward. Your responsibilities will include maintaining the Current State Architecture, ensuring it remains relevant and up-to-date. Furthermore, you will be vigilant in identifying and escalating any engineering and architecture issues promptly to the Lead Domain Architect, Product Owner, IT Engineering Lead, or the Enterprise Architect, ensuring that challenges are addressed swiftly and efficiently.

Your profile

You have an eye for the challenges that architecture offers. You deliver quality in your solution intent, but you can also be pragmatic if necessary. In addition, you must be able to deal with architecture at a strategic level, but also to deliver a detailed solution. We are looking for a team player who can move effortlessly between different teams and stakeholders. Someone who is able to make the right decisions about short and long-term architecture choices and who enables the delivery teams to work independently on IT delivery.

• Togaf and Archimate certified (method for developing and managing architecture)
• Security standards (inspecting, cleaning, transforming and modelling data)
