Your job

You are responsible for developing, providing and distributing high-quality and complex risk reports on market- and counterparty credit related risks both inside and outside the bank and you strive for continuous improvement of data quality. You are the owner of the reported risk information and you are able to perform required analyses that take market risk management to the next level. In addition, you monitor the quality of the input data for risk models as well the reporting process on a daily basis by finding the right balance between timeliness and accuracy of the information.

Working environment

You will work within the Market Risk Reporting & Control team and you will work hybrid in ABN AMRO's dealing room and from home. In your work, you will have contact with many different stakeholders like risk managers, finance teams, IT and external data suppliers. You provide reports to senior management, trading desks, specialized risk teams and to the regulator. You will be working in a team which focuses on reporting and data analysis and where there is being encouraged to initiate and realize improvement ideas. This all to achieve efficiency throughout the value chain.

Your profile

• You are a professional with a proactive mindset and you are focused on collaboration with your colleagues in order to achieve better results. You work accurately and in a structured manner. You are process-oriented, like problem-solving and you actively participate in preventive and curative risk management.
• You hold a master's degree in Economics, Finance, Business/Data Analytics;
• You have programming skills in Python; 
• Good knowledge of MS Power BI (PL-300 certification is a plus);
• Knowledge of market- and credit risk;
• Demonstrable quantitative insight and analytical skills; 
• Strong communication skills & proficiency in English, both oral and written;
• Adaptive, curious, and willing to challenge the status-quo in a healthy and constructive manner
