The Position:
IFS Ultimo is in a phase of rapid international growth, requiring a proactive and analytical financial expert who can support and challenge the business. As Senior Business Controller, you will play a pivotal role in steering the company’s financial health, partnering with business leaders, and optimizing financial processes. Your expertise will contribute directly to improving revenue management, cost control, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop financial models to support long-term business growth and optimize financial performance.
- Revenue Management & Forecasting: Analyze revenue streams, including SaaS subscription and consulting revenue models , ensuring financial predictability.
- Advanced Budgeting & Reporting: Lead the planning cycle, deliver accurate monthly reports, and enhance financial transparency.
- Process Improvement & Automation: Drive efficiency by implementing best practices in financial processes and leveraging tools like Power BI.
- Business Partnering: Act as a trusted financial advisor to cross-functional teams, including Sales, Operations, and Product Development.
- M&A Integration: Support finance and integration efforts related to acquisitions.
Job requirements:
- A Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Economics.
- 5-7 years of experience in financial control, preferably in a SaaS or tech-driven environment.
- Strong analytical skills with proven experience in financial modeling, KPI analysis, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and ERP systems (experience with Certinia or Lucanet is a plus).
- Skilled in analysing consultancy revenue, including project-based income and professional services billing.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for driving business improvements.
- Experience in an international business setting.
