Senior Strategic KPI Expert

As a Senior strategic KPI expert, you will play a pivotal role in setting, measuring and reporting the progress of our strategic objectives and building lasting relationships with our key senior stakeholders. As a senior strategic KPI expert you play a pivotal role in the measurement and messaging of our progress on these strategic objectives towards our management board.

That is why we are looking for someone that can steer this process, across functions and business units, by building lasting relationships with our key stakeholders. Are you up for it?

What you are going to do

Your job will include; 

• Taking the independent lead on the strategic domain of P&A including stakeholder management, overall coordination and key messaging 
• Prepare materials for the MB strategy onsite and Capital Markets Day 
• Project and strategic domain lead on change initiatives both from strategic target as strategic KPI reporting process perspective
• Coordinate quarterly strategic KPI reporting process with key stakeholders and perform quality assurance 
• Oversee development of standardised strategic dashboarding solution and optimize process
• Trigger, challenge and consolidate annual strategic target setting process based on inputs from target owners as part of the annual business plan cycle including support on annual EB/MB variable renumeration process
• Give guidance and support to BUs and support functions as Corporate Relations and HR to create alignment between group strategic framework and their (local) strategic priorities for both internal and external purposes
• Get a comprehensive understanding of our products, our customers and business strategy
• Monitor overall progress on strategic KPIs in the light of market development, identify trends, and provide actionable insights

• Salary between €7.413 and €10,590 based on a 40 hours work week depending on your knowledge and experience. It is also possible to work 36 or 38 hours per week

Who you are

• You have experience with being a senior domain lead, setting and monitoring a business strategy and project management, preferably within the financial industry
• You have executive stakeholder management experience and able to build lasting relationships with other departments on senior/executive level (such business units, HR, Corporate Relations)
• You have financial/economics or related university degree and at least 10 years working experience in that field
• You have adequate analytical skills and executive reporting skills
• You could be held responsible to maintain/develop a reporting tool (currently Power BI) with support of your P&A Strategy colleague and the relevant IT experts
• You are inquisitive by nature, and you enjoy collecting and consolidating different views, and are able to combine these to strategic insights
• You have strong communication skills (oral/writing) in English and Dutch 

There is no relocation budget available for this role. We are looking for someone who currently lives in The Netherlands.  

Who you will work with

You will work within the P&A team Group & Dutch BU, reporting to Kamiel van Langen. You will be the team lead of the business strategy part which consists of 2 persons. The broader P&A Group & Dutch BU team consists of 10 persons and is responsible for the strategic and financial reporting and analyzes of the performance of the Group. The team consists of financial experts with diverse international backgrounds.We are a fun, friendly and supportive team, helping each other and sharing knowledge. To connect, we work at the The Hague office every Wednesday.
