Young Audit Professional
Always wanted to know how the core areas of a bank are managed? This is your chance!
In the coming three years, we will help you as a young professional to learn how to perform audits in an international and dynamic environment in one or more of our core banking areas like: Wholesale Bank Lending, Credit Risk Management, Compliance and/or Models. The young audit professional course is a unique opportunity to get full insight into our core audit banking areas and provides you with a solid foundation and strong expert knowledge, so you are well positioned for your next challenge in audit, the first or second line in ING and across the globe. In addition to your professional development, we will make sure that you will have plenty opportunities to develop as a person.
In your first year you will merely perform audits in the Netherlands. As you mature - through training on the job and study - you will gradually start to support CAS teams in for example New York, London, Singapore or Frankfurt and/or participate in complex global audits. You have the opportunity to gradually specialize in one of the core banking areas or if you prefer, you can rotate across different areas every year. For sure, you will learn at a fast pace and will get involved right from the start. As part of the course a senior member will be assigned to you as your mentor and one of our former graduates will be assigned as your buddy. They will not only help you find your way around the organisation and help you answer practical questions but are fully committed to make your three year a success.
